In association with Series Mania, the Torino Film Lab launches SeriesLab a new training program for TV writing, opened to international writers and creators who wish to be accompanied in the first phase of development of their series.
In partnership with the Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques (SACD)


Aimed at developing innovative and high-profile TV series projects through a 4-month course (three
4-day long residential workshops and two on-line sessions, from January to April 2017) SeriesLab is open to 9 projects and it follows the entire process of creation of a TV series concept, offering the support of highly qualified tutors and story editors, up to a final presentation during the Series Mania Co-Production Forum in april 2017.

SeriesLab Tutors

The projects were supported by some renowned names in the European TV series industry, including Nicola Lusuardi, Vincent Poymiro, Stefano Sardo, and Anita Voorham, and by two coaches, Eilon Ratzkovsky and Gino Ventriglia.
Nicola Lusuardi –  Italy – Scriptwriter
Works as a playwright in collaboration with several production companies and as a screenwriter with TV networks. He teaches dramaturgy at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, italian national School and RAI-Script school for screenwriters.
Vincent Poymiro – France – Scriptwriter
Creator, and co-writer, with David Elkaïm, of the television series CHURCHMEN (French title – Ainsi Soient Ils) which won various awards and has been shown on Arte for three seasons.
Stefano Sardo – Italy – Scriptwriter
He worked on several TV series script as 1992, In treatment, La Nuova Squadra and Il tredicesimo Apostolo. At the moment, he is working on Il Ragazzo Invisibile 2 and 1993.
Anita Voorham – Netherlands – Story Editor, Scriptwriter
Works for the Dutch Film Fund as a Feature Film Consultant. She is part of several international development labs such as TorinoFilmlab, Berlinale Script Station and Venice Biennale College–Cinema.        
Eilon Ratzkovsky – Israël – Producer
Chief producer and CEO of July-August Productions, independent production company specializing in feature films and Television productions and considered to be one of the fastest-rising production companies in Israel.
Gino Ventriglia – Italy – Story Editor
Story editor and tutor for TorinoFilmLab as well as for other international development programs. He teaches drama writing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, italian national School.
